This is an unusual design from Wetmore's office and stylistically appears misplaced in Virginia. The simple rectangular building stands out for its red tile roof and walls of golden-colored brick laid in geometric patterns. The color picks up on the hues of the church opposite (SH6). Terra-cotta ornamentation outlines the central entrance and at the cornice where it is in a Moderne zigzag pattern.
