Woodstock's oldest surviving church replaced a building of 1833 that burned during the Civil War. Its pedimented front gable features a wheel window and is surmounted by a tall square belfry with bracketed eaves, arched louvered openings, and a cupola. Tall round-arched stained glass windows have arched hoods.
