1937, Walter De Mordaunt and John Gray. 900 W. Orman Ave.

This eclectic campus, begun in 1931, is to some degree unified by its Southwestern Style architecture. The 115,000-square-foot Academic Building (1991, Manning, Knapp with Hurtig, Gardner and Froelich) blends Post-modern, Southwestern, Mediterranean, and Mission Revival styles. The building is brightened by a red tile roof and by columns banded in terracotta and turquoise applied by Pueblo artist Judy Williams. Beige brick and stucco and arcades with massive Roman arches complement buildings of the 1937 campus.
