W. P. Westworth, a Boston architect, is said to have modeled this high-style Gothic Revival church after St. George's in New York City. The small frame building has a double-pitch roof with a decorative truss in the steep peak that flows gracefully into the bargeboards. A central, open belfry under a flaring, pyramidal cap is crowned by a botonné cross. The roof flares over side wings with wooden buttresses dividing paired Gothic lancets framing stained glass windows. The rose window, framed within a wooden Gothic arch, contains four smaller circular colored glass windows. The tracker organ, made by the Ryder Company of Boston, was brought in pieces over Mosquito Pass by oxcart.
