1895, Herbert C. Dimick (?); Francis Colahan, builder. 815 Harrison Ave.

August L. Englebach of the Englebach Machine Manufacturing Company built this house, which the Leadville Herald Democrat called “a fine sample of a modern dwelling, the round tower and ornamental wood-work being in the best style of the building art.” Besides the conical-roofed three-story corner tower, this frame Queen Anne house has roof cresting with finials, a pediment above the entrance, and diamond shingle trim. Owner-occupant Evelyn Furman is the author of several books about the Tabors and Leadville.
