Granberry Methodist Church

Granberry Methodist Church Virginia Department of Historic Resources
1891. 200 Granbery Rd., 0.3 miles east of Stoney Mountain Rd.

This simple, frame Gothic Revival church, named for the Methodist bishop John Granberry, has pointed-arched windows with a tall triple window in the front gable and deep eaves. The entrance tower is unusually placed at the second bay of the building's five-bay length. Capping the square tower is a pyramidal roof supporting an octagonal belfry and spire. The church is now covered with aluminum siding.
