This was the second headquarters of the pioneering mail-order instructional school (
LK15). Its source is the familiar crenellated Tudor Revival tower of England's Hampton Court, rendered here in buff brick. Cousins of the building can be found across the city, from North Scranton Junior High School (1922, Sinclair and Gregg) at 1539 N. Main Street to a miniature version in the John J. Audubon School (1910, Snyder and Ward) at 1801 Mulberry Street in the Hill.
