The only three-story building on Main Street, this seven-bay brick former hotel included commercial space on the ground floor and the Masonic Hall on the third floor. During the 1870s, it was known as the Union Hotel. Its elaborate cast-iron front features pilasters with acanthus leaf capitals, dentils, and scroll brackets, and a frieze above the second story depicting a row of griffins. The building's restoration included the reapplication of sand paint on the cast-iron facade.
