1848. 309 N. Bridge St.

This one-and-a-half-story Carpenter Gothic house was built for Episcopal clergyman, lawyer, and mayor John Wharton. It is a square, cross-gabled building with a front porch with bold, curvilinear brackets and drops, a balcony above the porch, and a decorated bargeboard.
