Woodbury, a pioneer, carpenter, contractor, and Greeley mayor, built this frame Carpenter's Gothic cottage with a central gable and steep roof. The Gothic Revival style is characteristic of early Greeley homes, although the Tuscan-columned porch is a newer addition. A similar design in masonry is the David Boyd House (1879), 1312 11th Street, home to the author of the 1890 History of Greeley and the Union Colony.
