The Park Theatre's beacon was added in 1922, crowning Estes Park with a clapboard tower 67 feet tall. Traces of light bulbs outline the tower and its red neon heart, making this a tourist grabber in the Coney Island tradition. In recent years, the closed theater has become the centerpiece of the Park Theatre Mall with frontage on Elkhorn Avenue.
