1915. Garden of the Gods, northeast corner of Gateway Rd. and Garden Dr.

The Garden of the Gods, a 1,350-acre city park (1909), features large natural weather-carved sculptures of red sandstone. The Pueblo Revival style Hidden Inn (1915) offered snacks, curios, views, and interpretive materials on the park's megalithic monuments. This fine period piece was replaced by a new visitors' center (1995, Gaede and Larson), 1805 30th St. (at Gateway Rd.)
