Colorado City's first city hall is a two-story building with a square, three-story tower at the southeast corner. Originally incorporating the jail, firehouse, and city offices, it became a school soon after a second city hall was built closer to the commercial strip. The sides and rear are brick, but the facade, now attractively restored, is rough gray stone with orange sandstone trim around the segmental-arched openings. The interior has been adapted for commercial use.
