1896. 411 Gold St.

One block away from the Roman Catholic church is the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. It is distinguished by its steeply pitched gable roof. Bishop Peter Trimble Rowe brought stock plans for the church, which never had a steeple. Wide wood shingles cover the walls, with smaller ones in the gables; the roof is covered with shingles as well. Gothic windows with colored glass pierce the walls, and entrance is through a vestibule on the side. The simple wooden interior features wooden scissors trusses. The church was extended and a parish hall added in 1956.
