1901. 135 Spring St.

Built of rusticated limestone, as are many commercial buildings in Eureka Springs, this two-story Richardsonian Romanesque hotel has a taller central section with a large entrance arch, with a two-story arch above it. Capping the central portion is a metal-covered mansard dome and pressed-metal cornice, and bold metal finials mark the building’s corners. Patronage of the hotel and bathhouse diminished during the Great Depression, but after World War II the hotel enjoyed a revival. It is the only operating historic bathhouse in town. The baths are located three flights below the main hotel floor.
