Now a museum, this stone house was purchased in an unfinished state by Dr. John Haller from York, Pennsylvania. He was the community's first physician as well as town coroner, a justice, and a tanyard owner. His two-story house of random-sized and coursed limestone and simple late Federal detailing is five bays wide and has a center-passage plan.
