This former post office has the restrained classicism of Wenderoth's tenure as supervising architect. Here a large red brick cube with a low hipped roof has a classical frontispiece composed of a tall arched entrance flanked by pairs of pilasters. The pediment is applied to the building's attic level. All the elements are flattened and project only slightly from the wall surface, which heightens the building's boxlike impression. Inside, the vestibule has a barrel-vaulted ceiling with coffering. The post office moved to a new building (WY6) in 2000.
