1910–1912, Reuben H. Hunt(?); 1925 addition, Herbert Levi Cain; 1953 chapel, William W. Patterson. 937 Main St.

Hunt of Chattanooga got the final contract for the church design but earlier the congregation had retained Haralson Bleckley of Atlanta, who may have had some early influence on the design. It is a monumental Roman temple of pressed yellow brick with a wide flight of stairs leading up to an impressive six-columned Ionic portico. Cain, whose speciality was designing churches, here continues the classical idiom in his rear addition that faces Sutherlin Avenue.
