1896; 1912, Heard and Cardwell. 509 McCormick Blvd.

Dominated by a large round-arched window and a pyramidal roof, this church is unusual for its fusion of classical and Romanesque Revival details. The dark-red brick walls and arched window and door openings are highlighted by lighter-toned bricks. In 1912, the building was modified by the addition of crenellated parapets, entrance towers, and a Sunday school wing designed by a Lynchburg firm.
