1910–1911; 1944 alterations. 549 Main St.

Forming the civic heart of Clifton Forge, the city hall is a two-story brick structure with a monumental pedimented Doric portico and a simple octagonal clock tower with a cupola. These distinguishing features date from a 1944 rebuilding following a fire that destroyed the original, more elaborate cupola, a modillioned cornice, and Ionic capitals. Notable surviving original features include a stuccoed frieze, monumental brick pilasters, and limestone jack arches above window openings.
