This wood-frame commercial structure is all that remains of Gardnerville's earliest mercantile buildings. The narrow two-story building rises to a gable roof, which is hidden by a tall false front trimmed with a prominent cornice. Narrow clapboards sheathe the walls. The facade is plain, with a central entrance flanked by two windows and two more windows above.
