Erected to house the first Henderson Bank, this one-story brick building is a modest structure, but it has some fine details in its denticulated cornice and arched window openings. After the bank moved to new quarters on Railroad Street, the building became a bar. The arches were filled in with glass blocks and plywood. Red tiles were applied to the lower part of the facade to suggest modernity in materials and color. Crowning the building, a large neon sign announces the “Silver Dollar Club.” A number of other vintage neon signs are displayed inside.
