With its tiered triangular dormers rising out of moundlike massing, this fantastic hilltop structure is reminiscent of resorts such as San Diego's Hotel Del Coronado. The dormers dramatize a triangular profile, created by a tall, pyramidal roof rising to a large, central cross. Beneath is a square, red brick building, its first story sparsely adorned except for soldier brick courses. An exposed wood truss supports the 50-foot-high roof and crowns the sanctuary and fellowship hall.
