1961, C. Francis Pillsbury. 1931 E. Bridge St.

A Denver architect designed this courthouse as a 50,856-square-foot, two-story drum. Its dark brown brick is broken first by a horizontal fenestration band, then by vertical panels of white-painted cinderblock with raised patterns that section the segmental bays. Originally constructed on stilts to allow parking under the structure, it was enclosed five years after it opened to provide ground-level facilities.
