1927, Robert K. Fuller. Southeast corner of 8th St. and Bridge St. (NR)

Red and beige brick walls, creamy terracotta trim, and red tile roofs provide the elements of a Spanish Colonial Revival treatment for this school. The three arched entries in separate bays are edged in molded and patterned terracotta, and doorways are flanked by round terracotta columns with owl capitals. Blind arches above the transomed double doors are tiled and contain terracotta plaques. Fenestration across the north facade of the two-story main building is also arched, although the largest windows have been bricked in. The building has been recycled as a community center.
