The Colorado Historical Society's Pueblo Museum occupies the rehabilitated Pueblo Housing Authority Headquarters adjacent to the 1842 Fort Pueblo site. This one-story building, stuccoed to resemble adobe in a neo-Aztec mode, houses exhibits on local history, including a replica of the original one-story trading post of El Pueblo, with its two rounded, crenelated towers.
