This western bar, museum, and restaurant is a treat in many ways, although the dim wagon-wheel chandeliers make it hard to inspect all the antiques, stuffed animals, and hats (including John Wayne's Stetson, captured while he was in nearby Ridgway filming True Grit). Taverns with various names have been here since 1876, most notably The Miners Pick, a notorious hangout for miners. The front facade retains the old metal cornice and rough stone foundation, but the storefront has been updated.
