1893, A. G. Bimson. 224 Mountain Ave. (NR)

Alfred G. Bimson, a mayor of Berthoud as well as an artisan, constructed this flat-roofed shop, which he operated until 1943, of rough-hewn stone. Now converted to the Little Thompson Valley Pioneer Museum, the variegated pink sandstone building with red sandstone accents is a strong and simple statement of its original purpose.
