This tiny brick chapel has a steep, frontgable roof covered in metal panels above a narrow narthex. Tall and narrow Gothic-arched windows trimmed in stone are evenly spaced between stepped buttresses. The chancel, which appears to be an addition, has a window composed of arches within arches. The rectory and fellowship hall have been converted to commercial use since the church closed in 1972. Surrounded by a spruce grove, St. Stephen's seems somewhat incongruous and hemmed in, as do many cathedrals in larger cities.
