Red Rocks Civilian Conservation Corps Camp

1938, Civilian Conservation Corps. Colorado 74 and Red Rocks Park

About 125 young men, the CCC laborers who constructed Red Rocks, lived here in what is now one of the nation's best-preserved CCC camps. The simple frame cottages and barracks are still used to house Denver Parks and Recreation employees working at nearby Red Rocks Amphitheater, as well as a small CCC museum.
