1894–1910. 9 and 11 W. Boulder Pl.; 312, 318, and 320 N. Cascade Ave. (NRD)

This mini-district of five houses on small lots reflects a rise in land values that followed the 1890 Cripple Creek bonanza, which created many fortunes spent on fine houses in Colorado Springs. The residences make use of the pattern-book styles popular at the time. The large houses embrace Queen Anne and Dutch Colonial styles, displaying decorative shingles, dentil trim, cornices, columns, and leaded and beveled glass windows.
