1909, Glen W. Huntington. 1326 Tremont Pl.

This Neoclassical fire station was converted in 1980 to a museum with a restaurant in the former upstairs living quarters. Behind the ornate gray brick and light sandstone facade, topped by an elaborate dentiled cornice, the original interior is starkly functional, almost modern, and retains its fire pole amid a wealth of equipment and memorabilia.
