Red Men Hall

Red Men Hall
1898. 125 W. Park Ave. (U.S. 40)

The local chapter of the Improved Order of Red Men, a nineteenth-century fraternal organization founded in Baltimore in 1833 to preserve the culture of the American Indian, built this two-story, clapboard, balloon-frame hall. Now restored, it has an enclosed exterior staircase that leads to the upstairs museum containing dioramas, kachinas, artwork, and historical exhibits.
