The Chesapeake and Ohio station at the north end of Boundary Street combines colonial-style brickwork and a Beaux-Arts rendering of classical details in a collegiate manner that separates this from the far more literal designs for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and its associated entities. The yellow glazed brick interior respected Jim Crow restrictions. After purchasing tickets from the same window as whites, blacks were required to move into a much smaller waiting room on the east (right) with segregated toilets.
