Hanover Street is architecturally distinguished for its concentrated development between the 1780s and the early 1900s and its almost textbook examples of styles and house types. Among them are a number of “tenements” or, to us today, double houses, such as these two three-bay structures with Flemish bond brickwork and sandstone sills. The detailing is Greek Revival.
