1895. 300–312 James St. (between 3rd and 4th aves).

This twelve-unit group of attached two-story, three-bay, frame row houses is fronted with a continuous porch and capped with a bracketed cornice. That such a row was constructed when the city was only twenty years old demonstrates the intensity of development in the late nineteenth century. Over the years several units have been refaced with newer siding.
