A polygonal tower with a steep roof dresses up this otherwise restrained Queen Anne style brick house. The regular lines and square form hint that its true stylistic affinities lie with the emerging American Foursquare style. The house now serves handsomely as the alumni center for the college, whose campus borders it on three sides. Albert West (1880–1961), whose prolific architectural practice centered in Glenville, also designed and supervised construction of highways and bridges in the area.
