Built by the Star Amusement Company, this Art Deco
–
influenced movie house is distinguished mainly by its smooth stucco facade, shallow piers framing the facade, and two panels of disk-shaped ornaments. It has a trapezoidal marquee with “Pearis” spelled out in large illuminated letters on two of its sides. The central entrance leads to a shallow barrel-vaulted lobby.
