-A A +A
1940. 111 S. Main St.

Built by the Star Amusement Company, this Art Decoinfluenced movie house is distinguished mainly by its smooth stucco facade, shallow piers framing the facade, and two panels of disk-shaped ornaments. It has a trapezoidal marquee with “Pearis” spelled out in large illuminated letters on two of its sides. The central entrance leads to a shallow barrel-vaulted lobby.
