c. 1875; later alterations; 1950 parish house/rectory, Smithey and Boynton. 101 E. Church St.

This church began as a simple frame building that was later encased in stone. An arcade connects the parish house and former rectory to the small church to create a roughly U-shaped complex. The roof, originally covered with slate, is now sheathed in copper. Below a circular window in the front gable, a centered vestibule leads to a central-aisle plan below a metal-truss open ceiling designed to support the weight of the original slate roof.
