The congregation of Faith Fellowship Church came down from its small brick church in the mountains and planted a permanent tent ministry by the side of the highway. Positioned behind a large parking lot edged with a modest frill of landscaping and crushed brick mulch, the church is made of two gleaming-white, elongated domes of insulated vinyl material coated with Teflon from Sprung Instant Structures, a Canadian firm. Tudor-shaped arches of aluminum provide support for the two domes that are connected by a tubular passage. The tent complex is probably one of the largest—if not the largest—churches in America made of Teflon, vinyl, and aluminum arches.
