This idiosyncratic pastiche of gables, porches, turnings, shingle patterns, and beaded sheathing is one of Dudley Newton's many Newport buildings. Although ownership of the house is often listed in his mother's name, he lived here, perhaps considering its many visual delights a showcase for his talents.
