By the time this small shingle-covered frame church with enormous brackets supporting the front eaves became redundant, the town was in need of new spaces for its library and municipal offices. An Arlington firm designed the conversion of the former sanctuary into a library, and town offices are in the former Sunday school area to the rear. The rose window over the entrance and a modest cupola astride the roof ridge remain to give testament to the building's original use.
