The Second Empire style made an early understated appearance in this elegant three-story brick town house with a steep mansard roof pierced by a tall slender chimney and arched dormers resting on a bracketed cornice. A projecting bay with pairs of hooded arched windows on the first and second floors creates an asymmetrical facade.
