This vestige of the county's agricultural base located beside Dixie Creek is now abandoned. Powered by electricity, this large two-story frame building with a long monitor rising above its gable roof replaced an older water-powered mill. With its six adjoining silos, the mill dwarfs even the courthouse and is an incongruous sight amidst the smaller brick dwellings of the town.
