Built on land donated by Dr. John Brockenbrough, owner of the Warm Springs Hotel, the church served villagers and hotel guests. The building, an excellent example of a rural interpretation of Greek Revival, has a pedimented gable pierced by a lunette and an entrance highlighted by wide Doric pilasters and an entablature. An open square wooden belfry and tall double-sash windows on the side walls add a vertical emphasis to the building. Deconsecrated in 1976, the church was renovated to serve as a single-family residence.
