This one-and-one-half-story brick duplex is among the more modest residences in the neighborhood. Designed in a simple Craftsman style, albeit in brick, the building has an unusual plan, with two main entrances located on opposite ends of the main facade on California Avenue. Gabled porches on brick piers with arched openings, outlined in brick of contrasting color, shelter the entrances. In the center, a large shed-roofed dormer with two triple windows meets the ridges of the entry porches. Brickwork is patterned to replicate quoins along the porch piers and around the window openings.
