1928, Gilbert R. Horton; 2005 renovation, Al Fitterer. 110 Collins Ave. NE

This building originally served city administration, local government, the fire department, city jail, and street departments. It is one of the North Dakota’s first explorations of geometric Art Deco ornamentation in brick and stone. Referred to locally as the “Mandan Fire Hall,” a third equipment bay was added when the building was repurposed and modernized as part of a 2005 adaptive use renovation as the fire department headquarters.
