West Virginia's largest private college, with an enrollment of 1,800 students, occupies a spacious campus east of downtown. Most of the buildings are Georgian Revival, but earlier structures display a more varied stylistic palette. From downtown, both Main and Sedgewick streets terminate at College Avenue, the campus's western boundary.
