1931, Alex B. Mahood. 124 W. Main St.

Directly across from the courthouse, the Masons built a traditional two-story brick building with a commercial first-floor storefront, a second-floor with four bays separated by strip pilasters, and a parapet with a central nameplate. Mahood of Bluefield, West Virginia, was a prolific architect responsible for a number of buildings in Tazewell and other communities in Southwest Virginia.
